FOUR IN HOSPITAL
ACCIDENTS IN AUCKLAND A broken leg was suffered by a plasterer, Mr. Edgar Caldwell, aged 45, married, of 1, Raleigh Street, Mount Eden, when the scaffolding on which he was working collapsed. Mr. Caldwell was admitted .to the Auckland Hospital. His condition to-day was satisfactory. Falling in the street near the Ponsonby Post Office last evening Mr. Harry Minns, aged 70, of 91, Summer Street, Ponsonby, suffered a fractured leg. His condition to-day was fair. While taking honey from a hive Mr. Robert Edgar Hemus, a bootmaker, aged 32, of 12, Maxwell Avenue, Grey Lynn, was attacked by the bees and suffered severe shock. Mr. Hemus was taken to the Auckland Hospital. When she was knocked down at the City Bus Terminal yesterday afternoon by a bus moving backwards, Miss Judith Humphries, aged 16, a pupil of the Epsom Girls' Grammar School, of 111, Long Drive, St. Helier's, was dragged underdeath the bus, suffering severe chest injuries and thigh abrasions. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital, and her condition to-day was fair.
