TRUCK OVER BANK
SEVEN MEN INJURED (P.A.) NELSON, Tuesday. Seven men were admitted to the Nelson Hospital this evening suffering from injuries received when a truck in which they were travelling went over a bank in Collin's Valley, on the Nelson-Blenheim highway late this afternoon. The injured were:—Mr. Arthur J. Leahy, chest injuries and shock; Mr. Rodger Pitcher, broken leg; Mr. Thomas Edwin Price, broken rib and internal injuries; Mr. Cyril Stratford, broken fingers and shock; Mr. Daniel Timmings, injuries to head and face; Mr. Richard Jary, injured shoulder; Mr. Alexander Thompson, shock and abrasions. The truck crashed into a stream. Se/eral of the passengers were on the way to Nelson for the week-end. Mr. Thompson was the driver.
