27 COMMUNIST DEPUTIES Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 5. General Giraud released 27 Communist deputies who have been under arrest since 1.940, says a message from Algiers. The Allied Commission on Political Prisoners also announced that 903 political prisoners have been freed since the Allied landings in North Africa. The spokesman .said there was still 550 political prisoners, the majority of them Spanish Republicans, whose cases are under investigation.
