UNREHEARSED SINGING
Lnrehearsed singing by massed choirs, a new idea in New Zealand, was held in the Baptist Tabernacle yesterday afternoon. The singers enjoyed the opportunity of joining In the well-known choral pieces from Handel's "Messiah," under the conductorship of Mr. Colin Muston, who had organised the afternoon. Mr. Muston had sent invitations to present and former members of all Auckland choirs. There were several soloists, and the choristers were accompanied by orchestra and organ.
