FIRE DESTROYS HOUSE
(0.G.) WHAN G ARE I, this day. A fairly old five-roomed house' occupied by Mr. W. Newson, of Whatitiri, was burned to the ground last night. Nothing was saved. The building was insured. Mr. Newson was absent at the time. The fire was noticed by a neighbour when it had a firm hold. No water was available Within an hour the building was in ruins. I
