CABLE COMMUNICATION
HOXGKOXG AND AMERICA Telegraphic communication with Hongkong, which was recently interrupted, has now been restored, according to an announcement by the chief postmaster, Mr. C. Clark. It is also announced that cablegrams for the United States of America are now permitted in English, French, Portuguese or Spanish. These languages may be used aliso in telegrams for Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras Republic, Nicaragua and Salvadore.. Haiti admits only messages addressed in English, French and Spanish. Costa Rica, Cuba, Bolivia and Dominican Republic admit only messages in English and Spanish, and Mexico only messages in the English language. The full address and signature is required in all cases. Messages in code are not allowed.
