CITY MEN CALLED UP
NOTICE IN GAZETTE
A notice requiring 11 men from the city military area who have been called up for service with the armed forces to report at the Drill Hall, Rutland Street, at 9 a.m. on January 8, appears in the current issue of the Gazette under the National Service Emergency Regulations, 1940. The men called are:—

David McDonald, seaman. 30, Pitt Street, City; James MacKenzie (occupation not stated), care of Post Office, Kalaua; Ernest Leonard James Monk, cabinetmaker, Great South Road, Drury; Johnson Woodbine Moore (occupation not stated), 3. James Street, Auckland: Alan Raymond Paton, shop assistant, Massey Road, Manurewa; George WatJcins. auto electrician. 32, College Hill, Ponsonby; Trevor Rhodes Williams, barman. Wynyard Arms Hotel. City; John Nairn Allen (occupation not stated). People's Palace, City.
