AUCKLANDER WOUNDED
Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs. M. Hawkes, of Buckland's Beach, that their son, Private Walter Henry Richard Hawkes, has been wounded in Libya. Private Hawkes. who was born in Auckland, was an old boy of Kowhai School and i formerly played Soccer for Y.M.C A the Third Echelon.
