BLACKOUT TESTS
As a warden of the East Oout bays, I would like the chief warden, through your paper, to give a dear understanding on the following points:—(l) Yvfcat is the position of tent campers during the reduced lifting and of (2) motor cars that park on the end of streets leading to the beaches? (3) Who is responsible for the shading of lights to the beacfe baches, owner or wnani? (4) notices were not sent to those vba were reported for breaches of the regulations during the last blackout test? The motor cars have tauw* many complaints by throwing a strong beam of light Veil out to sea before cutting off. while the houses have to be blacked out- Some of these cars have been reported, but still no action is taken to stop this breach. The matter of campers has caused quite a lot of trouble up till now. and with the approach of the holiday season it would be well for those in charge to notify through vour paper the exact position. WARDEN.
