In a fierce week-end battle southward of Nish in Serbia, Serbian guerillas wiped out a German expeditionary column numbering 320 All independent guerilla bands are now united under the command of Colonel Mikhailoviteh, who is organising offensives against a whole series of enemy garrisons in Yugoslavia. The Germans are rushing up reinforcements to Serbia from other countries and have begun arresting intellectuals for hostages.
