PRIVATE INQUIRY
MILK ROUNDSMEN'S HOIKS
A private inquiry into the question of an earlier start for milk roundsmen was held to-day bv Mr. J. H. Gilmour, S.M., acting on behalf of the Minister of Labour, Mr. Webb. The Minister has powers under the Shops and Offices Act to change the hours of the award. At present a start is made at 3 a.m. Members of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council and representatives of vendors were present at the inquirv The Milk Roundsmen's Union was notrepresented. Mr. Gilmour will report to the Minister at the end of the inquiry.
