OVERSEAS MEN
ENROLMENT QUESTION (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. "Many of the overseas soldiers have come of age since last election and have not enrolled. Many others have come of age since going overseas, and unless these men are given an opportunity to enrol they will be disfranchised at next general election," declared Mr. O'Brien (Government, Westland) in a notice of question to the acting Prime Minister, Mr. Nash, in the House of Representatives yesterday. Mr. O'Brien asked Mr. Nash if he would take steps to ensure an opportunity to all overseas soldiers to be enrolled on the general electoral roll for the respective electorates in which they resided before enlistment.
