ROTORUA CAMP

OPENING ON THURSDAY NO MORE MENINGITIS CASES Provided that no further cases of meningitis develop' at Rotorua, the army authorities intend to lift the ban on leave from Rotorua territorial camp on Thursday. The Ngaruawahia camp was re-opened yesterday after being closed since Friday. It is anticipated that the troops in both centres will be given leave during the coming week-end, and that the two camps will be open to visitors. The two territorials affected, who are in the Waikato and Rotorua Hospitals, are reported to be progressing favourably. Other camps in the Northern Military District are free from any cases of meningitis.
