NATIONAL CANDIDATE.
MR. FORTUNE FOR EDEN
Last night, Mr. W. H. Fortune was selected as the National party candidate for the Kden seat, at present held by Mr. W. T. Andcrton, for Labour.
Mr. Fortune, who is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of .Secretaries, contested the Auckland West by-election last year as an Independent candidate. He is a major in the Territorials, and for tho last 15 years he has been associated with a city firm, of which he is now director.
