Medal for conspicuous j»allantry during an air raid. .Air. MalTnjr. who was ;l student in his final vear a~t St. Thomas' Hospital. London, was one of a small band of volunteers who remained in tho hospital after it had received (lireo direct hits last September. Though the building was evacuated Mr. Muling and his companions performed work of the greatest importance at the risk of their lives.
Mr. Maiinpr is 28 years of ago and was educated at ChrislV; College and Canterbury Col !«.<•(■. He wnsn geologist with the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company and worked for a time in Iran. Five years ngo he decided to become a doctor and entered St. Thomas' Hospital as a student.
