LABOURER CAUGHT.
STOLE SUIT FROM SHOP.
TWO MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT.
The theft of a suit valued at £5 5/ from the front of the Alf. Moore Clothing Company in Karangahape Road yesterday was admitted by Andrew John McDonald, aged 52, a labourer, when he appeared before Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., in the Police Court to-day. Detective-Sergeant Walsh caid McDonald was pursued by an assistant from the shop and detained until Detective I. Jones took him into custodv.
"It ie quite clear this nun is incorrigible," added the prosecutor. "This is his thirty-sixth appearance and in *ddition to having 11 previous convictions he has qualified in all stages of vagrancy from being an idle to disorderly person to being an incorrigible rogue." McDonald wae sentenced to two moil the' imprisonment.
