CARS IN COLLISION.
TWO MEN INJURED. Two men riding in a light car were admitted to hospital suffering injuries received when they were involved in a collision with a large car at the corner of Stanley Road and Wardville Road, in the Gordon district, about nine miles from Te Aroha, on Saturday. They were Mr. John B. Monzies, of Stanley Eoad, Manawaru, and Mr. Albert Logan, of Te Aroha West. The larger ear was driven by Mr. W. M. McLeod, of No. 9 Road, Springdalc, who was accompanied by his wife and three other passengers.
Both cars were extensively damaged, the Lilian oar somersaulting after the collision. Mr. Menzies and Mr. Logan received bruises, cuts and concussion and were admitted to a private hospital. Their condition is not serious. The passengers in Mr. McLcod's car suffered from shock.
