Hospitality accorded those on board the American Clipper during the 1 '- trip to Auckland was acknowledged in a radio message sent to the PostmasterGeneral, the Hon. P. C. Webb, vesterdav by Colonel Clarence M. Young, Pacific Division manager for Pan-American Airways.

The message was as follows: — 'On behalf of Captain Tilton, the flight ciew. the observers aboard, and myself, I extend greetings from the Aniorican Clipper, now en route from Noumea to Canton on the return voyage to the United States of America. We genuinely appreciate the gracious hospitality of your Government and yourself. It will live long in our memories. - '

A similar message was received from Colonel Young by the Mayor, Sir Krucst Davis, yesterday. Colonel Young said all on the Clipper appreciated the hospitality received from Sir Ernest and Lady Davis, and from the city generally. "We enjoyed our stay in Auckland," the message added.
