BIRTHDAY BALL.
The New Savoy reception hall was ■> scene of gaiety last night, when Lyon's Cafeteria held its first birthday balL Executives of the firm, the staff end their friends were pleasantly entertained with dancing and garni*. After supper, the managing director, Mr. R. H. Byfo:-d, and the staff manager, Mr. A. E. Collins, thanked the staff for their loyalty and co-operation during the past year of hard work, during which the chain had expanded to nine shops.
