NEW ZEALAND PEOPLE. "WE ARE Df GOOD HEART." (Bj Telegraph— Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The determination with which Xew Zealand, as well as the' rest of the British Empire, will continue the war against Germany was re-emphasised in the House of Representatives yesterday by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, and his remarks were received by member* with loud applause. Mr. Fraser stressed the willingness of the Dominion to assist Britain and referred briefly to the raising of specialised companies asked for by the War Office. After referring to the present position in France, Mr. Fraser said that everv part of the Empire was pledged to continue the fight until the Nazi menace was finally rembved and the rights and liberties of the conquered peoples restored to them. Mr. Fraser outlined the steps taken to raise the specialised companies requested by Britain and said that the ready response showed how the people of New Zealand were ready with their support. "lake the people of Great Britain, we in New Zealand are in good heart and we are not dismayed," he said. "It is true that our principal opponent is at this moment exulting in victory, but it is equally true that he has suffered terrific losses in both men and material. . . . Though we. too, have suffered terrible losses in military equipment we have lost very few men and the war output of British armament factories is only just beginning- and to them must be added the vast material resources of Canada and the United States."
