OBITUARY.
MR. HARRY MORRIS. DEVONPORT COUNCILLOR. The death has occurred of Mr. Harry Morris, a member of the Devonport Borough Council, and a well-known business man at Devonport. He was 53 years of age. Born at Reading, Berkshire, England, Mr. Morris came to Auckland 18 years ago and founded a business at Devonport. He was elected a member of the Devonport Borough Council at the last local body elections, and last Wednesday' evening attended the first meeting of the council to be held in the new council chambers. Mr, Morris was well known in racing circles, two horses whidli have carried his colours being Ascot" Bloom and Huntingmore.
