PLUNKET ROOMS.
MOUNT EDEN PROPOSAL Plan* for new Plunket room* a.- it Centennial memorial, and the erection <>f a suitable building adjacent to Potter's Park, Dominion Road, are being prepared for the Mount Eden Borough Council. It is hoped to call tenders for the work next month. The Mayor of Mount Eden, Mr'. R. Mills, said that between £400 and £500 had been subscribed towards the cost, and a subsidy would be available. The council had decided to donate £2."i to the Mount Eden Plunket Society's funds.
