YOUNG BOY'S FATE.

FELL INTO WATER HOLE. (From Our Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Tuesday. "This is one of those unfortunate accidents that happen in the most inexplicable manner, ,, said Mr. F. W. Platts, district coroner, at an inquest into the death of Roy Stanley Marsoni, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Marsom, of Primrose .Street, Frankton, who was found drowned in a shallow water hole at his parents' home on Sunday. The father of the child stated that he last saw the child at 3.2.3 p.m. playing in the garden while he and his wife were gardening. He went from the front of the house to the back and when he returned about 3.50 p.m. there was no sign of the child. After looking around he discovered the child's feet sticking out of the water hole. He applied artificial respiration and summoned Dr. E. C. Brewis, who applied restorative methods, but to no avail. The coroner returned a verdict that the child had been accidentally drowned.
