WAITANGI CELEBRATIONS.

WHANG ARE T, this day. Information from Sir Apirana Ngata that the Waltangi celebrations, in common with other Centennial observances, will continue uninterrupted, was received by a conferencc of Ngapuhi elders held at Waiomio yesterday. Sir Apirana snid he had consulted the Hon. W. E Parry on the matter. Ngapuhi* will be hosts for several thousand visitors from southern tribe* and the conference yesterday appointed a subcommittee of (10 to make the necessary arrangements.
