FALL INTO HARBOUR.
Overbalancing as he was walking up the gangway of the Union Company's steamer Kiwitca about S o'clock last evening, Mr. Gordon Edwards, an assistant steward, fell into the water between the vessel and the wharf. Two waterside workers went to liii> assistance, and Detective Cromwell administered artificial respiration until the arrival of a St. John ambulance, when the treatment was continued by the driver until Mr. Edwards had recovered sufficiently to lie taken to the Auckland Hospital. Ilis condition is not serious.
