TOUR N.Z. BY AIR.
FIRST COMMERCIAL FLIGHT. WANGANUI MAN'S INTENTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. What is thought to be the first flight round New Zealand by regular commercial air services alone will be made soon by a Wanganui man. Leaving Palmerston North, he will fly via Napier, Gisborne and the Bay of Plenty to Auckland. Thence he will proceed via New Plymouth and Palmerston North to Wellington.
From Wellington lie will fly via Nelson, Westport and Grevmouth to South Westland. whence, after staying a few days, he will go by air to Dunedin, with calls at Christchurcli and Blenheim. From Wellington he will return by air to Palmerston North. Two thousand miles will be covered in less than a score of hours of travelling time and the traveller will save not only time but also money through going by air.
