TAKAPUNA PLUNKET.

MORNING TEA PARTY

An enjoyable morning party was held yesterday at the home of Mrs. J. Campbell Rennie, Renton, Mairangi Bay, when members of the Takapuna Plunket committee gathered to farewell Mrs. A. G. Conlan, who has left the district. The sun room and lounge, where a delightful tea was served, were gay with spring flowers. The guest of honour receivjd a novel bouquet composed of handkerchiefs. An amusing competition was held, and prizes were won by Mrs. A. 3. Brett and Mrs. J. McGregor. Songs were charmingly rendered by Mrs. R. O. Phillips and Mrs. A. G. Conlan. Others present included: Mesdames Garfield Stewart, A. W. Short, G. H. Matthews, D. C. Roberts Stuart Mackay, J. Mahon, W; G. Leaning, L. J. Minogue, R. J. Foreman, A. B. Oliver, C. W. McBrtde, Miss Stevenson, and Mrs. S. H. Crowe.
