ANNUAL AT HOME.

OTAHUHTT RETURNED SOLDIERS. Held in the Otahuhu Public Hall, the annual At Home of the Otahuhu and District Returned' Soldiers' Association proved to be a most enjoyable function.

To provide for a very large number of non-dancers fcard tables were set up in the Masonic Hall, the stewards in charge being Messrs. R. V. Closey and W. Cowper. In the five hundred section Mrs. Blockley was the winner of the first prize for ladies, with Mrs. Summerville and Mrs. Knobbs runners-up In the men's section Mr. J. O'Toole was the winner, Mr. Stinton and Mr. Lovich filling second and third places. The most successful players in the bridge section were Mesdames Statham, J. Cowper and H. Pearson, and Messrs. Grant, Harper and Gardiner.

Messrs. H. Lovell and R. McConochie were masters of ceremonies in the dance hall and special dance competitions were won by Miss Rona McConochie and Mr. A. Breed, and Mr. and Mrs. Best.
