GIRL SERIOUSLY HURT.

A passenger in one of the two cars involved in a collision at Otahuhu, shortly before 3 o'clock yesterday morning, Miss Lorrain Vitali, aged 21, dressmaker, of 02, Avenue Road, Otahuhu. suffered injuries which were the cause of her admission to the Auckland Hospital some hours later. Minor abrasions were suffered by the other five occupants of the car, but they were able to proceed home. One of the cars driven iiv Mr. W. F. Edwards, of Huntly Avenue, Newmarket, with a male passenger, was going down Atkinson Avenue, Otahuhu, when it came into collision with the other vehicle, driven by Mr. D. B. Cameron, of Pitt Street, Auckland, at the intersection of Princes Street. Both the cars ran off the road under the force of the impact.

Mr. W. A. Absolum, of Meadow Street, Otahuhu, who was a passenger in Mr. Edwards' car, was thrown on to the running board, and he hung there a 6 the car ran on to the footpath. Those passengers who were injured were treated by Dr. B. B. Armstrong, of Otahuhu. During yesterday morning Mis? Vitali was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, suffering from concussion.
