VEHICLES COLLIDE.

When the car he was driving came into collision with a truck at Ngaruawah ia on Saturday night, Mr. Cecil William Mudgway, aged 29, a freezing works employee, single, of Horotiu, suffered a compound fracture of the right arm. The occupants of the track were not hurt. Mr. Mudgway was taken to the Waikato Hospital in a St. John ambulance, his condition being not serious. The car was extensively damaged. Walking along the main road at Matangi on Saturday night Mr. David Shaw, aged 71, a farmer, of Tauwhare, was struck by a motor car driven by Mr. Percy Dingle, of Tauwhare. Suffering a fractured leg, Mr. Shaw was taken to the Waikato Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is not serious. Mrs. J. Thompson, aged 88, of Rosella Road, Mangere, suffered a fracture of her arm when she fell at her home on Saturday afternoon. She was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. H€r condition is fair. Nita Cossentine, aged 13, suffered concussion when she was struck by a motor car in Victoria Street, shortly after five o'clock on Saturday afternoon. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. Her condition is satisfactory.
