The Xazi spokesman at Danzig declared (hat Mr. statement in the House of Commons yesterday did not exclude the possibility of negotiation. An Independent Cable Service message, however, states that Mr. Chamberlain's speech restating Britain's commitment to I aid Poland has not deterred the Danzig] Nazis. Attacks against Poles are reported, and a dozen Polish workers were arretted after leaving Schichau works and were sent to concentration camps in Germany. The Nazis are concentrating on | excluding Poles from all Danzig activities for the sake of secrecy in regard to their preparations. Munitions are still being shipped into the Free City through Schichau. Seven trawlers carrying mine-laying equipment arrived at Danzig last night. I
