YOUTH AND MIDDLE-AGE.
MORE TOLERANCE URGES. (From Our Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Monday. Described as a sincere gesture of interest and goodwill toward the youth of the community, the Hamilton Rotary Club entertained a company of youths at its weekly luncheon to-day. Mr. A. M. Bislcv presided and the speaker for the day was the Rev. A. C. Nelson, of Auckland. Mr. Nelson said there was too great a gulf fixed between middle-age and youth. Youth was intolerant of advice, but was responsive to confidence and trust on the part of elders, who should be ready to give a word of encouragement when it was merited. He appealed for a greater understanding and a more tolerant attitude toward vouth.
