MAORI VETERANS' OFFER. ' \ (From Our Corresponflent.) ROTORUA, Friday. During the visit of the GovernorGeneral, Viscount Galway, to Horohoro to-day opportunity was taken to present to him for transmission to the King a resolution of loyalty and an unqualified offer of service in an emergency which was adopted by the Arawa Returned Soldiers' Association at a reunion on the eye of Anzac Day. The resolution was as follows:—"We, the Arawa Maori Returned Soldiers' Association, realising the unsettled international condition, desire to assure His Majesty the King of our unswerving loyalty to him and to the Empire, and, as in 1914, we again offer our services to our King and country."
