RAIN IN WESTLAND.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Sunday.
Commencing on Friday night, beneficial rain fell throughout the West Coast during the week-end, bringing much-needed relief, particularly to gold dredges and sawmills, which are being affected by the lack of water. The rain breaks a dry spell of eight weeks. The weather to-night is still overcast and more rain is likely.
