WOMEN'S INSTITUTES.
New Lynn. —The monthly meetiri" was held yesterday in St. Thomas' Half Mrs. Boler presiding. Mrs. Savage was congratulated on her beautiful work on a bridesmaid's shower bouquet, which won the silver cup at the Waitakere group meeting last week. Mrs. Miller gave an interesting demonstration on hairpin work. Mrs. WiUon rendered two songs. Hostesses for the day were Mesdames Liddle, Farmer, Bindoiii, Teed and Horidge.
