MUCH UNREST IN BURMA. Independent Cable Service. (Received 9.30 a.m.) RANGOON, February 8. Reinforced troops and police are standing by in Mandalay, where trouble is feared in connection with the strikes. A meeting of elders, who are supporting the student hunger strikers, advocated a national hunger strike, to be enforced by priests, unless the Government surrenders to the strikers' , demands.
