He is at present in Kngland. Dr. Cialway wa« born in Colchester. England, in 1S!I4 and was educated at Ayr Academy, Scotland. ,md the Melbourne, I'niverrtity, wlicre lie won his musical doctorate. He was organist of Cairns Memorial Church, Melbourne, from 1010 to 1013, and of St. Andrew's Church, Brisbane, from l!»i:{ to !!>]!». In HMO he was appointed organist of First Church. Duncdin. While ill Hririliane he was conductor of the University Mlixical Society and was wlected to control tlie n!u«ical arrangements for the peace, celebrations of 1910 and to conduct the massed choirs and bawds. He is the city organist of Dunedin.
