GRAVE CHARGES.
MARRIED WOMAN IN COURT.
A married woman, Margaret Wilson, aped r>4. appenred in the Supreme Court to-day before Mr. Justice Callan on two charges of unlawfully lining an instrument on a young woman with intent to procure a certain result. The offences were alleged to have been committed in Auckland on November 10 and 22. Mr. Ooldstine appeared for the accused and Mr. R. Meredith cov.ducted the ease for the Crown. A young man described how lie had prone to an address in Newton, where lie whs met by the accused. He asked if the accused would "fix the girl up." Wilson agreed to do so for the sum of £ir>. The next day he took the girl to the house. Later in the morning he and the girl went to a house in Reinuera, where the girl stayed. (Proceeding.)
