Auckland:—The first monthly meeting of the Auckland district executive of the Women's Christian Temperance Union for 1939 was held in the Temperance Room, Queen Street, yesterday. The district president, Mrs. H. Kasper, presided. The flevotions were led by Mrs. Christopher. Mrs. Kasper welcomed Miss S. Pyle. a visitor from Honolulu. Miss K. Appleby, the Dominion organiser, gave a report of her work among the various unions of the Auckland district.
