Thomas Borthwiek and Sons' Walngawa freezing works is £20.00(1. h Work was resumed at the works this morning except in slaughtering. Sheep which were to have been killed at V\ aingawa were forwarded to Feilding, Waltara. and Hastings for slaughtering, some of the butchers from Waingawa going to these works to cope with the wtrft loesp.
