LARGE MAKO CAUGHT.
(From Our Correspondent.) WHAXGAROA, Thursday. The largest mako shark to be caught this season, weighing 4501b. was landed to-day bv Mr. J. F. Hardingliain, of Auckland. It was caught off the Cavalli Islands, and provided a spectacular fight, lasting over an hour.
