STATEMENT BT JUDGE

"Mr. Justice Fair and I had a discussion on the point, and we both feel we ought to say the practice of the divorce petitions being served by the gentleman who is taking a part as counsel is one we would like avoided if possible," said Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court to-day. His Honor added that cases might arise in which there was no alternative, but wherever possible the Court would like the papers served by someone who was not a counsel in the "case.
