EDEN ELECTORATE HELPERS
The. residence of Mr. and Mrs. ,T. B. Parkinson, W.iiatarua, was the scene of an enjoyable garden party on Saturday, when the members of the various National party committees of the Kden electorate, together with the election day helpers, were entertained. Although heavy showers in the early afternoon drove tlie guests indoors, the weather later cleared fUilTiciently to allow them to appreciate the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
