ACTION CONDEMNED.
BRITISH PLAN FOR CZECHS.
At the monthly meeting of the Otahuhu branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants of New Zealand last evening, the following resolution was carried unanimously;—
"That this meeting of the A.S.R.S., as 103-al supporters of the Labour movement, express thoir entire agreement with the Federation of Labours resolution condemning the action of the Chamberlain Tory Government in betraying the people of Czechoslovakia into the hands of Germany. We consider that the Labour party in Britain is correct when it states that this action, instead of averting war, will only encourage Hitler to commit further' acts of aggression against democratic countries. We, accordingly, urge the Government of New Zealand to dissociate itself from the British Tory Government's policy of openly aiding Hitler."
