[ Charged with keeping o j K , n after hours and with exposing liquor for sale, William John Davidson Jack, licensee of the Clobe Hotel. Papnkura. was fined £2 and £1 resjKHtivelv. with cost* 10/ on each charge, by Mr.' \V. H. Freeman. S.M., in the Papakura Magistrate's Court to-day. A cliarae of obstructing the police was withdrawn. Six men and two women were charged with bein- on the premises after hours, and were fined 10/ and costs 10/ Counsel, Mr. S. D. Ki oe , said it was the hcensce's fir*t offence since hein- in the trade. Sergeant Cowan prosecuted.
