To Command Czech Army "FURIOUS" WITH PARIS (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, September 23. General Faucher. chief of tbe French Military Mission in Czechoslovakia, sent his resignation to the French Government. It is announced that he placed himself-at the disposal of the Czech defence forces. The "Exchange" Paris representative says the report of General Faucher's resignation was officially unconfirmed, then it was not denied. He ranked as a general in the Czech Army since 1930. It is believed, says the "Daily Telegraph" Prague correspondent. that the entire French military mission w,II follow the example of General Faucher, which is now confirmed. It is known that General Faucher sent a telegram to M. Daladier saying: "I am furious and disgusted at France s declaration not to honour her defence pact, which is the basis of the Czech defence plan." The Czechs claim that Britain and France agreed that there must be no interference with sovereignty in Sudeten areas pending regulation by a commission. They also agreed that a dismemberment agreement would not be valid without Czech Parliamentary sanctiqn. The correspondent add. that Mr. B. C Newton British Minister, and M. Delacroix. French Minister. advising that Herr Hitler refused to guarantee Mr. Chamberlain that he would not attack Czechoslovakia. , . Ministers warned Dr. Krofta that attack could be expected at
