BASKETBALL DANCE.
POINT CHEVALIER FUNCTION.
A large number of young peoplo gathered last night at the Sailing Club when the Point Chevalier Basketball Association held their grand mid-seasoa dance. Miss Betty Ryan, the president of the association acted as hostess and wore turquoise frilled organdie.
The conjmittee responsible for the evening's entertainment comprised Miss Elsie Holdsworth. who wore dusty pink cloquc; Miss E. Breckon, paille. "tinselthreaded chiffon; Miss A. Ryan, navy sheer; Miss M. Ryan, powder-blue georgette; and Miss P. Gladwool. Mr. George MeKwan acted as master of ceremonies.
