THE REVELLERS.
A happy evening was enjoyed at the Revellers," in Victoria Street, on Tuesday, when a dance was held. Mrs. V. Hogg and Mr. A. Hunter, in turn, played the extra waltzes and received an ovation, while Mr. Bill Hogg, as master of ceremonies, kept things swinging along. Much amusement was afforded by the "gaolbirds," whose good-natured banter and antics earned the goodwill of all those present. Novelty prizes and dances during the evening were won bv Air Trevor Taffe, Miss Stewart and" Miss Fugill, Mr. Andrews and Miss Kanghelme, Mr. Bill Brown and Miss White. A five hundred card tournament was organised by Mrs. Barfoot.
Among the ladies present were: Mesdames F. Skinner, A. Smith, I. Ho<"» M. Fulton and E. Ellwood, Misses *E Barfoot, A. Bruford, K. Dilworth, A Query, E. Tetley, R. Anderson, E. Anderson, F. L. Dalton, L. Tarrant and R. Bush.
