TWO CARS COLLIDE.
MAX SERIOUSLY INJURED.
(By Telegraph.—Prees Association.) HASTINGS, Tuesday,
Serious head injuries were received by Mr. Robert Mintoft, of. Hantinge, when two care collided at the intersection of St. Auhyn Street ami Willopark Road about 10.30 la«t evening. Ho wae admitted to the Memorial Hospital. and the report at mid-day was that his condition was very serious.
Mr. Mintoft was a passenger in a car driven by Mr. J. Heenan, of Hastings, who escaped without injury. The driver of the other vehicle. Mr. William George Adame, aleo of Hastings, was similarly fortunate in that he was not hurt. Women passengers, in both cars received sligirt injuries, but were able +0 proceed to their homes. As a result of the impact both cars were overturned and were extensively damaged.
