MANAGERS' REPORTS. Bulolo Gold Dredsring.—For the month of August the total gross production amounted to 23,4!>20;5 of bullion containing 16,2000 a of tine gold from 1.249.000 cubic yards. Estimated working profit, 11.5080s of fine gold. The above production Is equivalent to £141.529 and working profit to £100,605 on the basis of £8 15/ (Australian) per fine ounce of gold. Placer Development.—For the three months to September 1 Pato Consolidated Gold Dredging. Ltd.. dredged 3.031,000 cubic yards for a recovery of 10.4630z fine gold and handled with its hydraulic units 264,000 cubic ynrds>, which yielded 21040z fine gold, the value of the total production being 430.845 dollars. During the same period Asnazu Gold Dredging. lAd.. handled '505,100 cubic yards, recovering 2688o« 1 fine gold, equivalent to 94.080 dollars. The reduced Asnazu recovery per yard was due to the dredging of some low valued irround which had to be handled at this time or permanently abandoned.
Golden Crown (Komata). —The manager 1 of the Golden Crown <Jold Mining Co. I reports as follows: The flood damage has been Tepaired. The rise from No. 1 level to Golden Crown level is now up a distance of 75ft. Forty tons of ore was crushd and treated from Xo. 4 level for a r.eturu
